How to be successful as a non-white person in a white world

and yes, it is possible!

For those of you sick of being treated as a second-class citizen

So, you've made the bold choice to move abroad, for better education and employment opportunities, or just to create a different life for yourself. Everyone has told you about the amazing opportunities waiting for you in Europe or North America, and you've bitten the bullet and done it (or about to do it) - congrats!

But this new, amazing life abroad isn't as peachy as you'd hoped. People treat you differently, at work, in relationships, maybe even just when you are walking down the street or buying groceries. And, although I hope you haven't had to experience racism, xenophobia, discrimination or harassment, statistics tell us that more than half of us have...

In general, you do not fit in, you do not feel equal to your white counter-parts, and you feel like 'less' than the people around you. Irrespective of your culture, your experiences, your education or the type of person you are, being suddenly treated as an unworthy person stings!

So what do you do?

Sit back and take it like the previous generation? Feel grateful for even being given this opportunity like the generation before?

Or, what about fighting against this biased, white society, taking on anyone that even dares to look at you differently?

I am here to tell you there is a better solution for you to be accepted in the white society:

A revolution. Not in the world around you, but within you.

And in the process of becoming accepted, you'll also be becoming a much better version of yourself. So good that even you will want to accept yourself. So good that you finally thrive in the very same white society!

This is a topic that is really close to my heart...

When I talk to friends who have moved to different parts of the world, at first they say that everything is going amazingly. But as soon as we dig a little deeper and talk about what's really going on, they all say the same things:

  • "l feel lonely"

  • "I am not a part of the community"

  • "I am not happy or satisfied with my life"

  • "The glimmer of hope I had when I first came here has disappeared"

  • "I have chronic inflammation/ pain/ illness"

  • and much more...

But why is this?

We know it is not about lack of money, a good job or friends and partners.

Instead, it's about them trying for so long and still not getting anywhere. After a while, this grinds you down so much that you just resign to the fact that you will never truly find a place in the society. And this lack of fulfillment leads to mental health problems and often physiological embodiments of this psychological pain. And then you are stuck in an unhappy life.

Maybe it sounds corny, but I am on a mission. For the past year we have been creating this course incorporating my personal experiences of creating a successful and happy life in Europe, as well as the stories and learnings from 100's of other people who have struggled to move to the West to do the same.

The goal? To create a shortcut to acceptance, and more, in the white society. So you don't have to reinvent the wheel and suffer like myself and so many others. You'll finally be able to be seen in the way you should be seen-with respect and equality. Everything you need is right here in this one-of-a-kind course. Just give me your attention, seriousness and understanding, and I will show you how you can thrive in a white world.

Course Objectives

Modules

  • Understand why the way society makes it almost impossible for us to thrive.

  • Bridge the gaps between your culture, and the culture of the place where you live.

  • See the other factors keeping you from integrating

  • Recognise the things that you are personally lacking which are holding you back

1. You will never be accepted

Before we can think of what we can do to change, we must first fully understand the situation of the world, and accept it, without anger or resentment.

2. White people are scared of you

Or more importantly, they are scared of what you represent. We will learn why the concept of change is so important and why it is the reason you aren't being accepted.

3. The glass is half-full

The glass is half full for many reasons, let's take a deep dive into all the ways it is easier than ever to achieve true success as a non-white person in the white world.

4. Racism is not about skin colour

We know that racism is the problem, right? What if I told you that there are so many other factors holding you back in life, that aren't about race.

  • Go from feeling dejected that you are not good enough to feeling accepted as you are... or perhaps become an even better version of yourself

  • How to use your situation to your benefit - using your grit, determination and perseverance to become better than others

  • How to take advantage of your unique 'brand' to make an indelible impression on the world

5. Becoming the best version of yourself

This is the meaty part of the course. I am not going to tell you exactly what to do - I don't know your personal situation. Instead, I will guide you on the areas that many non-white people would benefit from developing.

6. Your personal brand

How to use this to create your own personal brand- where you use your unique expirience and determination as a person of colour in a white country to your advantage.

7. More than being accepted

Being accepted as you are is the bare minimum to expect from life. In time, we also hope to thrive in the life we create, with success and happiness. But there is a step beyond this. I call it becoming THE PERSON.

Meet your coach:

Hi, I'm Abhisek, I'm not an influencer but an entrepreneur, educator and life coach. I have work experience across two continents and have founded 3 start-ups in three different countries. Despite being educated in some of India's top colleges and travelling lots in my early twenties, I felt completely clueless when I first moved to Europe 9 years ago. Sure, I was living an okay life and my business was doing well, but I was unable to integrate or feel accepted. And it took a huge toll on my mental health, happiness and success.

I will share my personal experience of how I managed to turn this around, the things I had to learn the hard way, and much more with you in this course.
